Director of Marketing

100% CLEAN, a sports apparel company in the Indianapolis area is looking for a Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing position is a critical leadership role with 100% CLEAN and will provide thoughtful and strategic direction to a creative and energetic marketing and corporate branding effort that will successfully position the organization with key internal and external constituencies worldwide. Reporting directly to the Vice President / COO, the professional who serves in this position will be a key contributor to the evolution of the marketing function as focus segues from the company’s products to one that establishes 100% CLEAN as the leader in the industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of collaboration with the entire senior management team, and especially with the corporate communications/brand management teams and channel/distribution partners. Coupling creativity with an operational mindset, the Director of Marketing will constantly challenge and improve the effectiveness of the Client’s marketing/ branding functions and activities, and will ensure that they are developed and leveraged effectively.

 The ideal candidate will have 5-plus years of experience as a senior-level communications and corporate branding practitioner, in addition to having significant practice in leading a corporate marketing/corporate branding function for a highly successful, global, and publicly or privately-held business-to-business focused entity that is similar in size and culture to 100% CLEAN. Of particular importance, this professional has a demonstrated ability in leading and directing corporate change from product marketing to a focus on broader, overall corporate brand marketing.
